hello,today i would like to show you how to install a fuel shutoff valve on a lawnmower. this ist the shutoff valve. please note the little arrow on it’s side, which indicates the direction of flow. the valve is open when the lever is pointing into the direction of flow.it is closed when it is turned by 90 degrees. before the installation it is best to first empty the tank. now we can remove the hose from the tank. after that we cut the hose into two pieces. to guaranty that the system does not leak, we install a hose clamp. plug the valve onto the hose.
now push the clamp to the correct position. on the other side of the valve we also install a hose clamp. the next is to attach the valve on the second part of the hose. now attach the hose back on the tank and ensure that all parts are connected properly. thank you very much for watching!
