project #lighthouse: "led there be light!" in the daytime... at kiel university, germany... it's just a skyscraper. 55m high, 22m wide 14 floors, 28 windows each that's 392 windows on about 1200 square meters we built 392 aluminium-bars... carrying 144 single leds on each bar
driven via 200 custom-builtnetwork-controllers and own server software adding up to roughly 57.000 single leds. so, at night, our building transforms into... #lighthouse we love 8 bit since 1665 (founding year of the university) cau lighthouse info
